No You have to multiply each number and that will give you 168

They are not explicit when they say choose 2 colors out of 7. If the colors are used for walls and ceiling, for example, then order matters. In that case, we would get 7*6 different pairs of colors multiply by the choices for the other items.

think about it. after you have picked the colors you can 4 kinds of curtains so for every color scheme you could have 4 different curtains. 4 times each color scheme...

and then for every color scheme with a curtain you can pick 3 colors of carpet, so 3 times for the carpets.
