I don't need it written because I can do that part easily. I just need help coming up with 3 reasons.

Write a letter to the editor either in support of, or in opposition to this statement.

"That government is best which governs not at all." - Thoreau

I want to agree with it but I can't come up with 3 reasons why. (I can't come up with 3 reasons to agree with it either.)

1. In order for a government to govern more, it requires money, which necessitates higher taxation. This hurts both suppliers and consumers.

2. Often increased government means less freedoms for the people (not always, so you would have to support this with examples, like government regulation of media in Russia, for example).

3. Governments that grow larger tend to experience increased inefficiency from bureaucracy. (Once again, you would have to explain solid reasoning for this or cite examples)
