So basically Jaiden once loved going to the doctor's office because the doctor always gave him a sticker (or a neutral stimulus). However, the last three times he has gone, the doctor has given him shots (or an uncontrolled stimulus) that hurt and make him cry with pain. Now when the doctor hands him the sticker (Jaiden's brain assocaites the sticker with the pain he felt the other time when the doctor gave him 3 shots and a sticker) he begins to scream (which is now the conditioned stimulus) since last time he got a sticker, he was in pain because of the shot.

I think the Unconditioned Response was actually him "screaming in pain."

And that the Conditioned Response is just the "scream."

The first time Jaiden gets the shot, he doesn't know what to expect.
He screams, because of the pain.
That's why I think that his screaming "in pain" is the Unconditioned Response, because the needle hurts him.

After he's conditioned, every time he sees a sticker, he screams.
And he's not screaming in pain, because obviously, the sticker wouldn't hurt.
So, that's why I think that his simply "screaming" would be the Conditioned Response.
