GF can be found by Pyth thm. |dw:1352218816338:dw| a^2 +b^2 = c^2 for this question, (9.4)^2=(6.8)^2 +(GF)^2 GF^2=(9.4)^2 - (6.8)^2 GF= answer! (press the calculator)

i got 42.12 .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would i round it to 42.72 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you forgotten to take square root to find GF? GF^2=(9.4)^2 - (6.8)^2 \[GF=\sqrt{(9.4)^2 - (6.8)^2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 6.5 is my answer !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it!!! Congratulations!
