well, since you are only given one "leg" side and the hypotenuse, you need to think only about sine and cosine. Tangent requires you to know "opposite over adjacent" and you don't have the other leg length easily available.

That leaves answers (A) and (C) sin A = opposite / hypotenuse cos B = adjacent / hypotenuse Fill in the numbers for each ratio... only one will match what's shown in the answers.
