cot theta sec theta simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm going to assume that theta = x because it is easier to type in. Cot(x) (Sec (x)) Cos(x) (1) __________ (Sin(x))(Cos(x)) 1/(Sin(x)) Sec(x) Basically, Cot = the inverse of Tan which is Sin over Cos And Sec is the inverse of Sin Place those all out and you get two things that cancel out.

(cos theta/sin theta)*sec theta costheta/sin theta cos theta sin theta

@ malical sec is reciprocal of cos not sin!
