For number one, you need to take the combined age and subtract 8 and then divide by 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Once you divide by two you add the 8 back to one of the 2 numbers and thats belinda age.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take tony's age = x belinda's age = 2x+8 combined age = 56 solve for x u get tony's age and do 2x+8 u get belinda's

If you take the equation 30*.10 you get 3 then add 16*.25 you get 7. 7 is the total amount the money adds up to and there is exactly 46 dimes and quarters used.

Thats for number 3.
