Does anyone have information on Chromium (II) acetate hydrate. I recently did a lab where it's magnetic susceptibility was measured and further more, it's magnetic moment was calculated. I ended up with 2 unpaired electrons (low energy state) but i've came across several literally works where they mention that it is diamagnetic, (no unpaired electrons) and instead forms a quadruple bond. Any kind help would be appreciated.
