Example: (4,2) is on the graph f(x)=sqrt(x)

where would that point end up on f(x)=2sqrt(x+2)-3

i always get the ones that involve a horizontal/vertical stretch/shrink wrong.

Like do you have to always apply the stretch/shrink factor to the x or y coordinate first and then do the vertical/horizontal shifts?
