Two of the same types of cell have the same number of mitochondria, but one cell's mitochondria have more folds in the inner membrane than the other cell's mitochondria. How would having more folds in the inner membrane of its mitochondria affect the cell's function? A It would release less energy from glucose molecules. B It would store more energy in glucose molecules. C It would release more energy from glucose molecules. D It would store less energy in glucose molecules. I found: fold called cristae in which oxisomes are present if more cristae more oxisomes more rapid speed of producing ATP means cellular rate increases in comparision to the cell who is having less fold in comparision to this one - so is it Answer C???
