The Gulf Stream carries heat away from regions in southern Florida. During night time, oceans carry heat away from locations in coastal Florida. Since I live in South-West Florida I should know a bit about it. It is definitely not answer "A" because the ocean does not bring us heavy rain. The best answer would have to be "D" because we have extreme heat during the day generally blamed on the ocean.
