My professor gave me a question but did not provide enough information to complete: Write the standard form of the equation of the parabola with the center (-2,4) and r=4

OpenStudy (perl):

if this is true, you can complain

OpenStudy (perl):

parabolas dont have centers *facepalm*

I just emailed my professor asking for more help. It is very vague and I cannot find anything online to help with it. Thank you for giving me a facepalm, I was starting to freak out. Maybe he put the wrong questions up

OpenStudy (perl):

hmm, is it a circle ?

OpenStudy (perl):

parabolas dont really have a center, they have a vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i thought as well, but for this lesson we are working with the equation of circles in standard form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then he wants it to somehow work into the equation of a parabola

OpenStudy (anonymous):

perl!

OpenStudy (perl):

hello
