first you solve 16 < 2x + 4, then solve 2x + 4 < 4.
How?
Treat the < as an =
16 < 2x + 4
12 < 2x
6 > x (You MUST switch the sign if you are dividing)
And again:
2x + 4 < 4
2x < 0
x > 0
So the answer is: 6 > x > 0
