Point E is located at (–2, 2) and point F is located at (4, –6). What is the distance between points E and F? 52 28 10 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You subtract the pair of x co-ordinates to get an x length, and the same with the y pair. Then use pythagoras as so:\[distance = \sqrt{x ^{2} + y ^{2}}\]. What do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[d=\sqrt{(x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2}\]
