I understand that: Concentration cells, a limited form of a galvanic cell with two half-cells differing in concentration. The metal atoms of one half-cell are able to induce reduction or oxidize (steal) the metal cations from the other half-cell. In the process the two half-cells generate DC (straight) electricity. Is this right? Are they mictoscopic batteries?
