find the area of a rectangle if the perimeter is 24 in, the width is 3 in, and the length is x+7 in. can someone please help me?

so 2(3)+2(x+7) =24 2x+20=24 2x=4 x=2 the to find the area... 3*(x+7) 3*(2+7) 27 :)
