How do invasive species change the Diversity Index?
invasive species could change the diversity index, by overfeeding on a food source which is dependent by other organisms to survive also if unchecked by natural controls, invasive species are spreading across our lands and through our waterways, and wreaking havoc with already fragile native species and ecosystems.
Thank you very much! :)
Hi, this is a question from your diversity index portfolio in biology. This is considered cheating. Please stop. Your teacher will be notified shortly :)
nothings wrong in asking a question ! asking questions is a good way to find out things ! I'm just doing my part in helping, isn't that's why we are all here :)
These students are not learning anything if you just give them the answer. The idea of these assignments is for them to apply what they learned. I don't care how you slice it, it's still cheating.
OK @MissTheacherLady16, i understand fully what your saying, BUT YOU said that , you don't care, right !! Their are 2 sides to a story, i am a student and i also do ask questions whenever i'm in need of assistance, BUT YOU don't care right !! , so we should never ask a question or help someone again, particularly on open study. MY point is, that you should have never used the words "I don't care", because some people do! and as i once said "I'm just doing my part in helping, isn't that's why we are all here", and this is the purpose open study ! I was just trying to helpful, i think that u should be to, at least be a little thankful or appreciative for my input towards this question and please try to understand my point of view, thankyou.
I never said I don't care? I do care. Why else would I be here trying to shut this awful site down? In theory this is a great idea, to promote open conversation about science concepts. But that's not happening here. You guys are literally asking for answers to questions on tests and portfolio assignments. There is no conversation. There is no exchanging of ideas. You ARE cheating. You ARE NOT learning anything. You are being DISHONEST. Oh I see how you thought "I don't care" It's because you read through my post too quickly and jumped to a conclusion. My "don't care" comment was trying to say - and be sure to read this SLOWLY and CAREFULLY - that the motives (reasons) behind cheating DO NOT make it okay in ANY circumstance. Does THAT make sense?
Yes, in reality, your point does actually make sense ! Yes, i understand what your saying but look at the bright of it, think of the POSITIVE and cancel off the negative!! In the long run, this can be useful, as a source of readily information whenever needed.Think about the benefits of it! Think about it!! If I were to ask my friend a question based on my school work, and He/she were to give me the answer,as they always do, Is that considered cheating?. NO! It would be a way of sharing, a way of accessing information and gaining knowledge, it would most importantly be a way of assistance to one's needs and YES we are learning because we can correct each other. But what YOU ARE referring too, is the act, the nature, the manner or the way of which something is being done to achieve a particular goal, i for one appreciate that !! unlike what some children do, Misuse open study!! I guess some people do abuse open study for their own personal use, but some are in need of help, like me :) and open study is a great way of doing this. Thank you, once again for SHARING !
If students actually used the site as you say you do then I would not have a problem with it all. I said that it's a great idea in theory. Unfortunately, I am seeing that students (my students) are posting test questions here and simply copying and pasting WHATEVER answer they get into their test - no discussion involved even if the answer is blatantly wrong.
True, i guess this is 1 of down side to it !!
