A line has a slope of m = - 3/2 and the point ( -6,2) lies on the line. What is the y-intercept of the line? i think it is -7, can any one confirm this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is -7. If you plug in the point into the equation y=(-3/2)x +b, you get 2=9 +b, so the y intersept is -7!
