Golf courses make use of fertilizers to keep grass green and healthy. Using your knowledge of osmosis, explain how applying too much fertilizer might not help the golf course stay green.

I guess the question is getting at the fact that if you put too much on it'll draw the water out of the grass and kill it rather than provide nutrients. I guess this is why advice is given to water in fertilizer so osmotic effects are lessened.
