i think 650

OpenStudy (faman39):

Thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome

OpenStudy (faman39):

@satellite73, @Sufiyancs what do u guys think?

OpenStudy (faman39):

I just need to understand, how will i get this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

surface are of cuboid = 2(l*b)+2(bh)+2(l*h) so just divide the figure into 2 parts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore, surface area of 1 cuboid = 2(10*5)+2(5*5)+2(10*5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is equal to 250 and then surface area of 2 cuboid = 2(20*5)+2(5*5)+2(20*5)=450

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore total surface area is 250+450=700 But as i have counted one line twice just the one next to 15 so the actual answer is 700-50=650

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u dont get the last part divide the figure into 3 parts

OpenStudy (faman39):

Thank you so much guys for helping :) thanks alot @Sufiyancs !!! you guys are truly awesome!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ammm sorry its 750... this is how we do it.. 2(5*5)+2(5*5)+2(5*5)=150 2(10*5)+2(5*5)+2(10*5)=250 2(15*5)+2(5*5)+2(15*5)=350 Total surface area= 150+250+350 = 750cm Square

OpenStudy (faman39):

Oh ok :) thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have divided it into 3 parts as i said before
