2.subtract 4x-5 from 2x-7 . arrange the expressions horizontally 3. subract these expressions. calculate horizontally or rewrite the calculation vertically, a. (4x+1) - (9x-1) b.-2k(k+3)-k(3k+5) c.(5x-2y)-5(x+2y) i need help )*.*(

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

It's asking you to write it like this: 2x-7 - 4x-5 ------ Just subtract (which will result in a negative value in front of x). Question 3 is just asking you to do this multiple times.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

So, the next three expressions would look like: a. 4x+1 - 9x - 1 ------- b.\[-2k(k+3) - k(3k + 5) = -2k^2 - 6k - 3k^2-5k\] Group like terms together: \[-2k^2 - 3k^2 - 6k -5k\] c. 5x-2y - 5(x+2y) = 5x - 2y - 5x + 10y Grouping like terms: 5x - 5x + 10y - 2y I leave the rest for you. ^_^
