Communion with God, I believe. That's why it's heaven. The idea is that men were cut off from the joy of knowing the mind and heart of God when we were ejected from Eden, and now the only way back is to die in His good graces and return to that state. I don't know if bliss is particularly promised -- probably more like satisfaction or meaning, something like finally knowing what it's all about. That isn't exactly the same as a blissful state, where you may just be stoned, not particularly aware.
