How did the greeks use deductive reasoning

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@myininaya Can you help me?!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the greeks I would guess just like you use in trying to understand something like a word you may not know in a book. If you want an example how about how Plato and Aristotle came up with their theories for dualism and monoism in psychology? or one of the million math formulas they thought of? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ginnyology Yess , a example would be nice!! Are you from connexus?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

connexus? okay a few examples might be how they actually were really the founders of logic , another might be like how i mentioned earlier in psychology in the believe of dualism where in mind and the body are separate of each other where as mononism is the believe were the mind and body are one. they way they came up with this was through deductive reasoning which is taking what you know and applying it to something you might not to get a theory or an idea :) does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeaaa , its a homeschool thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ginnyology yes it does thank you so muchh !!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay for homeschool! And np :)
