The culture background in some of their writing? To be honest everyone writes differently so there is no just one difference between different writers. Writing is a way of expressing yourself and everyone thinks differently therefore wouldn't everyone write differently therefore there not be a difference based on location. I mean there are different dialects like the britsh mum to us mom if thats what you are looking for but publishers normally change that anyway. Also you could argue different areas might have different believes like a news paper article written in Germany in 1947 vs America
