How the british colonist respond after the lexigton and concord

Well to seeing that all the colonist at that time were British pro British would have seen it as a treat seeing that the anti British were finally gaining a step up in the war, it was the first fight where the anti British ie the Americans really stood up for themselves I guess a good answer would be they started to take things seriously.
