In a plane, what is the locus of points equidistant from the endpoints of a segment AB of length 10 cm? umm, I'm thinking it is a perpendicular bisector because they said it's equidistant from the endpoints of a segment but the 10?! I have no idea about that O.o

OpenStudy (nubeer):

hmm yes i think its perpendicualr bisector.. and the 10 cm is the length of line AB whose perpendicular you have to draw.. first make a straight line of 10 cm and then just get its perpendicualar.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

yes something like this..

OpenStudy (aroub):

Thanks!!

OpenStudy (nubeer):

you are welcome.. and by the way i dnt think tht we put those slanting lines when drawing locus

OpenStudy (aroub):

what "slanting" lines? the arrows?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

lol no, the one giving it the shape like triangle

OpenStudy (nubeer):

OpenStudy (aroub):

Oh, okay! Hehe, thank you =)

you are most welcome :)
