If AF bisects EC then the two halves of EC are congruent. So ED = DC Angle EAD = angle CFD is given Angle ADE = angle CDF because they are created by two intersecting lines (vertical line theorem) Now we have two angles and the side between these two angle all congruent in both triangles. So triangle ADE = triangle CDF because of the angle-side-angle theorem.
