Please help me get started on the following problem. A rectangular field is to be bound by a fence on three sides and by a straight stream on the fourth side. Find the dimensions of the field with maximum area that can be enclosed using 100ft of fence.

This is a calculus problem. First, draw a picture. label sides write down the length of the fence = sum of the sides write down the equation for the area of a rectangle. can you do any of that?
