Question..........

OpenStudy (hba):

Modulus of \[2(\cos \frac{ \pi }{ 3},iSin \frac{ \pi }{ 3 })\]

OpenStudy (hba):

I suppose De-Moivres law Would help....

OpenStudy (hba):

@ash2326

OpenStudy (anonymous):

express above in the form of complex number , that is, z = 2cos(pi/3) + i 2sin(pi/3) then take modulus of this u will get the required answer

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Modulus of \[a+ib \ is \sqrt{a^2+b^2}\] Use the same thing here, in fact modulus of \[\cos \theta+i\sin \theta =1\] regardless of theta.Can you do it now?

OpenStudy (hba):

So the answer is 2 ?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yes

OpenStudy (hba):

Thanks.
