Ratio of perimeters, help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

do you know how to find the perimeter of a triangle ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (nubeer):

ratio small : big 28 : 32 divide both sides by a common factor. i would do by 4 7 : 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is 49 : 64 the next pair?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

yes i believe so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, I think so too :) thank you

OpenStudy (nubeer):

as for area in ratio's we have to square the side.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

but its not a square

OpenStudy (nubeer):

\[\frac{ A1 }{ A2 } = \left( \frac{ S1 }{ S2 } \right)^{2 } \]

OpenStudy (nubeer):

never said it's a square.. i meant have to square the value of the side.
