OpenStudy (anonymous):

let x = the number of visits to the gym the cost of going to the gym for members for yearly members is just 360+4x the cost of going to the gym for nonmembers is 10x+6x ($10 for admission and $6 for equipment rental) or just 16x (each time they visit the gym, it costs them $16) when are they equal? well set the two equations equal to each other 360+4x=16x 360=16x-4x 360=12x x=30 So at 30 visits, the cost of visits will be the same.
