How are plant pigments like teammates on a sports team? What is the goal of their teamwork?

Are you familiar with plant pigments?
I will give a hint:
the plethora of colours on the computer screen you see now are simply the mixture of three colours, Red, Green and Blue. By mixing the three colours, you get different colours based on how much of them you mixed.
Now, plant pigments work the opposite way, but I think you can get it.
