You need to approach this problem by first finding the initial volume. 6x2x4=?. Then you need to add the 1.5 to the 4 foot depth and multiple again. Last you just need to subtract the first from the second. :)

so its 18...but the way its worded sound like you multiply the entire volume by 1.5 and subtract that answer by the original volume giving you 24...but u were right anyway
