[6.02] Fun Land theme park has a total of 80 males and females who are employed at the park. If the number of males is 20 more than twice the number of females, how many males are employed at the park? 80 60 30 20

This one is really hard lol!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let x represent the females the males are represented by this equation 2x+20 you know that the males+the females=80, so plug in the info you know x+2x+20=80 3x=60 females=20 subtract that by 80 and you get 60 that is how many males are employed....i think...makes sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that should be right! Are you sure though?
