use the quadratic formula please.., :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ax^2 + bx + c = 0 x = (-b+-sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/2a

OpenStudy (richyw):

hey gerryliyana, do you know you can typeset in latex on this website? For the function \(f(x)=ax^2+bx+c=0\) \[x = \frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.., i'm sorry. I know about that :)

OpenStudy (richyw):

haha nbd, it's just a lot more clear for pretty much the same amount of typing :D. But yeah all you have to do now is plug in those numbers into that formula
