OpenStudy (phi):

converge means the numbers get closer and closer to some fixed number diverge means each number gets bigger and bigger (either positive or negative) if you list the next number (multiply 2 times the last number you got), and keep doing that, does that look like converge or diverge?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

converge? @phi

OpenStudy (phi):

what is the next number after 7, 14, 28, 56,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

112 @phi

OpenStudy (phi):

and after 112 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

224

OpenStudy (phi):

do you think these numbers are ever going to stop growing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (phi):

that means *diverge*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh ok :) thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can i ask you to help me with one last problem?
