If you draw one card from a standard deck, what is the probability that you draw a king or queen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you probably have to find out how many cards in a standard deck, then find out how many king and queens are in a standard deck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I looked it up and it says there is 52 card total in a standard deck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 4 kings and 4 queens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the probability would be out of 52 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and there is 8 kings and queens in total so 8/52, which can be simplified to 2/13
