What is the perimeter of the trapezoid below?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

do you know the area of trapezium? @janett77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i don't

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use pythagorean theorem to find the height (you get 8) and then add up all the sides: 10+14+8+8=40 :)

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

½(a+b) × h=area

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

ok @janett77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mayankdevnani ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

use pythagorean theorem to find the height ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the answer is 40

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

well @yummydum don't give direct answers

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
