(Calc III) D is a disk of radius 3, centered at the origin, in the uv-plane, and r(u; v) = (au; bv; 7), where a and b are non-zero constants. Calculate the surface area. The answer is 9pi*|ab|, but I don't understand why. Also dS is supposed to be |ab|dudv, but again I don't understand why.
