Yalda has designed a house. The attic window is too wide. She plans to add a support LN that bisects segment KM, as shown.

KL and LM are the sides of the window making an angle KLM. A support LN joins L with a point N touching the lower side of the window KM.

Part 1: Using complete sentences, describe the steps used to construct the support.
Part 2: Compare and contrast the method of constructing the support verses sketching the support.

Part 1: (clue)Well, she's going to have to minimize the amount of space for the vertical borders so it's not so wide. Which would be sides KL and LM
Part 2: (Clue) Than about it, to minimize the width space, you'd also have to shorten the horizontal boards.
