Can someone check my answer? Find the rate of change (AKA slope) for 5x + 3y = -2 5x - 5x + 3y = -2 -5x 3y = -2 - 5x 3y/3 = -2/3 - 5/3x y = -2/3 - 5/3x Rearrange to y = mx + b y = - 5/3x + 2/3

Which would make the rate of change(slope) - 5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope is correct.... but that "+ 2/3" should be "- 2/3"
