OpenStudy (jayden):

Write an equation of a line in slope intercept form that is parallel to y = 3x+6 and passes through the point (-10, 2.5). Do not use spaces and enter fractions as improper reduced fractions when needed.

OpenStudy (jayden):

is the answer y-6=3x-30?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See if this works or makes sense, for it to be parallel it has to have the same slope which is 3, so the 3 stays. Then use the equation y=mx+b and use the points given 2.5=3(-10)+b b represents the y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got the equation y=3x+32.5

OpenStudy (jayden):

ok thankyou

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ur welcome
