are chia seeds an appropiate size for representing mitochondria in a 3D animal cell model? or should i use something larger? pls reply asap my project is due tmrw!
You could use cardboard and just draw and colour the organelles...
..but it would get soaked because im using vegetable oil for the cytoplasm in a resealable plastic bag
hmm ah so perhaps plasticine will do?
its night i cant go to the shops nearly midnight
Oh. Perhaps chia seeds will have to do. Just use a marker do draw something on it
should i put it in a cup of water to soak so it gets this jelly stuff around it ans then strain before i put it in the vege oil?
But wait. If you're using chia seeds for mito, then what are you going to use for ribosomes? Something larger will be better in this case. Yes, I think you should soak it.
ohk, about ribosomes since im in year 7, my teacher hasnt actually explained about the other parts of the cell yet, just the main parts. we're not really doing much on cells. i don't know about ribosomes ans stuff.
and*
ah. Okay. So what's next? ER?
ER?
endoplasmic reticulum
oh, nup.
alright then... lol seems like it's done.
