How do you find the equation of a plane which is perpendicular to the line of intersection of two planes and passes through a given point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let the required plane be P1 + kP2=0 where k is some constant and the value of k is determined by some given condition here if u s put the values of the point in P1 + kP2=0 u will get the value of k and hence the eq. of plane

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you use the line of intersection as the normal vector of the plane that is perp to it; and adapt it to the given point
