it's the bottom of the ninth and an outfielder throws the ball towards home plate, which is located 80 m away. when it leaves the outfielder's hand, the ball is 1.80 m above the ground and travelling at 30 m/s directed 60 degrees above the horizontal. assume that air resistance is negligible, although it would not be. assuming no one catches the ball, where would it be located when it hit the ground? would the ball make it to home plate.
