How many points are shared by concentric circles? a. 0 b. 1 c. 2 d. infinite points

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

do you know what concentric means..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Concentric objects share the same center, axis or origin with one inside the other. Concentric do not share any points as long as their radius is different (in which case they are identical, as in share all points).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer would be d? @robert4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i need help @Lunalovegood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says thats wrong

OpenStudy (turingtest):

where does it say that they have the same radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't

OpenStudy (turingtest):

that is the peril of taking an answer to a question you don't understand try replying to campbell_st's question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It mean to have a common center point, or axis

OpenStudy (turingtest):

ok so draw two (differently sized) concentric circles on a piece of paper. how many places to they cross each other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no why

OpenStudy (turingtest):

so really there are two answers, depending on whether the two circles have the same radius
