This experiment isn't really a "controlled experiment." 

Do you already know what a "controlled experiment" is? 

A controlled experiment is where we make sure that EVERYTHING about the experiment is the same, except for just ONE thing, and ONE thing only. 

Let's list all the things about this experiment that are the same: 

1. All of the plants are watered with the same amount of water. 
2. All of the plants are watered at the same time. 
3. All of the plants are kept under the light for the same amount of time. 

Now, those parts of the experiment are all the same. 

In a controlled experiment, there should only be ONE thing that is different. 

But this isn't a controlled experiment. 

Do you know which things are different?
