trying to find 3 fractions equivalent to neg five-ninth's or -5/9 ??? please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just multiply the top and bottom by anything. In your case maybe 2,3 and 4. So -10/18, -15/27, and -20/36

it doesn't have to multiplied by the same number though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The numerator and the denominator are multiplied by the same number yes. So -5/9 x 2 will equal (-5x2)/(9x2). Just do that for three different multipliers.
