Find polar coordinates for the point: ( sqrt( 3 ), -1) Is it (2, -5pi/6) ?

I came up with (2, 11pi/6) in quadrant IV. but for some reason this came to be the wrong answer. I am not sure why. However, the point (2, -pi/6) is equivalent to this. So am I right?
