Area = Length x Width, so, what number times itself is equal to 256? \[x^2 = 256\] \[x = 16\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16

OpenStudy (dinnertable):

I forgot to mention that since that it is a square, both the length and width are equal to each other.
